A seamless transition and architectural integrity were maintained with the addition of a new two-story addition consisting of a 1st floor garage extension and 2nd floor 14’ x 25’ family room.
This family room features frame and panel custom cabinets in natural maple and square piano windows that bring in great natural light while maintaining privacy. The finger-jointed drawer detail used in Shaker design was something that this client wanted to give the cabinets a little something extra, and Orfields’ great attention to detail made it happen! The cabinets are shown against beautiful new floors done in 2 ¼” red oak select hardwood.
