To gain the additional space for the bathroom, an unnecessary recess in the adjacent guest bedroom was removed and the wall now runs straight. The hallway to the bedroom was modified and the entrance to the laundry room was moved over. The existing water meter was moved to a new location and a custom chute installed to route the laundry into the adjacent room.
A new glass block window, large soaking tub & shower surround, ceramic tile floor, pedestal sink, toilet, recessed medicine chest and a surplus of new recessed lighting transform this former dingy, cramped bathroom into a well-finished and inviting space. Adjoining basement rooms received new paint, carpet and lighting.
