Oaks of Shenandoah Neighborhood

This homeowner woke up from sleep in the middle of the night by the sound of a loud crash. Their original 2nd floor deck had fallen off the house and was now on the ground! Because we had worked for them previously on the interior of their home, they knew just who to call. We designed a large 12’x28’ and smaller attached 11’x13’ deck with a strong stair for direct access to their big backyard. The new deck we constructed is structurally sound with new larger/deeper footings, larger 6×6 cedar posts, 2×10 joists, and a properly sized ledger with proper flashing against the existing stucco home. Using Sedona colored AZEK maintenance free decking with an attractive cedar railing system, not only brings this deck up to code, but also makes it handsome. Our clients are now enjoying this sunny hang-out every day!
