The former basement was a maze of wasted spaces. In this high-end basement remodel, we changed the layout drastically. We removed an old bathroom and installed a new ¾ tiled bathroom in a new location with cherry cabinets, granite countertops, and an accent recessed tile niche behind the glass shower door.
In addition, the family room has new windows and exterior door, composite wood flooring and carpet, with rough in for a future bar. The old brick 2 sided wood burning fireplace was covered with contemporary stained concrete and a new gas insert was installed. This basement now has two bedrooms/offices with new windows, walk-in finished storage, a finished laundry room with cabinetry, and a dedicated exercise room.
