Summary :

The original homes front entrance had cedar decking and railroad ties that needed to be replaced in order to maintain the homes high neighborhood value. The homeowners also wanted to make the entrance safer for themselves and guests by improving the lighting, installing hand rails and creating easily identifiable risers. Due to the homes unique architectural design, and for long term durability, we proposed new flagstone and pavers on a concrete foundation. Shopping with the owners at the landscape showroom, we decided to use Belgard Arbel Cotswold Mist on the horizontal surface pattern, giving the look of natural flagstone – but without the inconveniences.

This product achieves the random design that helped create a natural stone look that is more striking than ever. To offer clean lines and architectural appearance, we used Buckingham Cobble Gascony Tan rectangle pavers for the steps and edge detail. This entrance is now structurally sound, with an inviting and eye-pleasing tapestry of subtle color combinations and pattern play.
