This client loved the reliability we gave throughout the project when our “detailed plan/process was followed and communicated.” The existing wood burning fireplace was converted into a new gas insert fireplace. This involved removing the dated brick surround and hearth, and the wood paneling on the wall and above the fireplace.
Then, backing was put in the wall to hold their flat screen TV, placed above the new Lanes bough natural thin stone veneer fireplace surround. We designed custom cherry built-in cabinets with doors that open and slide back for easy access to audio/visual equipment and mini “puck” lights inside the cabinets light the contents. The new cherry fireplace mantle curves to mirror the new limestone hearth and these in union with the cove molding around the room, recessed lights throughout, and new paint create a pleasant room!
We had a great experience. I think Orfield was very clear and communicated very well.
