Summary :

We’ve always wanted to change up our front entry way and stairway to make it more inviting. So when we decided to remodel our kitchen, we thought it would be a perfect time to make this change as well.

With hardwood floors and a small privacy wall in the entry, it made welcoming guests very awkward and cramped. We wanted to knock out that wall and put down tile in the front entry. We also wanted to open up the stairway going upstairs. From previous projects, we knew we could trust Orfield to come up with a design that we would love. The result has given the front our house a more open and bright atmosphere. And the tile is a perfect surface for our Minnesota winters. Our guests comment on the great change both when they enter and exit our home.

They (Orfield) were very confident in getting the project finished in the short time frame that we had. They were always on time during the process. Communication was always open and was positive.
