This Front Entry/Curb Appeal project was part of a larger remodel on this 1962 rambler. The initial concern for this portion of the remodel was to address a leak into the basement under the front stoop, and create a large mudroom.
In the rear of the home we created a Master Suite Addition to allow for a large Master Bath and grow the Master Bedroom. The previous Master Bath space allowed us to expand the General Bath to hold a double sink vanity, deep soaking tub/shower combination and built-in linen.
The new construction contains Marvin Integrity windows, brushed nickel and white fixture finishes. We changed every old flat hollow dark oak interior door in the home to new solid white raised 2-Panel by Bayer-Built, then painting all the remaining woodwork/trim a matching white. Combinations of insulation (batts, ventilation chutes, thermax light boxes, with both blown & foamed) were installed in the new construction and throughout the remaining home & attached garage.
