This client was in need of a master suite. The house consisted of 2 small bedrooms and they were expecting their first child.
We fulfilled their desire of more space by designing and constructing a 2nd story addition (over part of the existing 1st floor and a new post footing). The clients now have a large master bedroom, walk-in closet, and enlarged/fully remodeled 2nd floor bath.
The addition consists of maintenance free Vinylite windows and is sided with painted cedar shakes. The bonus of this addition is that it also provides a covered exterior space which is great for sheltered entertaining in the backyard.
